We are Professional Foreign Exchange Traders. We don't just make interest on our investments, we actively trade the FX market for a living.

A couple of years ago we sat down and had a good think about what we wanted out of life. We decided that we didn't want to work for anyone ever again so that meant setting up a business of our own. We had already gone down that path by purchasing a property with an airfield with leased hangars and we also set up a commercial worm farm. We also decided that we wanted to get a motor home and do some traveling so the airfield and the worm farm were going to become a burden on us when we wanted to get away so we had to think of something else to afford the lifestyle we were seeking.

I was already trying my hand at online marketing and could see the benefit of using the internet for an income. Trouble was I was not doing very well out of it. During my search for an online marketing business I came across a Forex program where it had a marketing side and a trading side. I joined the program because of the marketing side but found very quickly that I was making a lot more money off the trading side than the marketing side. Forex immediately took our interest away from marketing but we continued with this program that was earning us around 20% a month. It was also costing us each month in membership fees to be able to use this program (typical marketing program) so as we weren't using the marketing side we went searching for another way to make money off the Forex Market.

Man did that cost us some money, both on learning and trying to find a profitable system. It took us over a year to finally find a system that actually works. The system actually is made up of a few systems but the main ones are systems used for directional trading and automated systems called Expert Advisors.

Setting up the business

Yes trading the Forex market is a business and it comes with all the benefits of starting a business from home including tax advantages. To set up a Forex Trading business to make an immediate income you need to have around US$20000. If you want to start from scratch and build on it all you need is a computer and a connection to the internet and around $500 to trade with. Most people already have that so chances are you are setup to trade already.

The photo below is of my trading station, bearing in mind this is a professional setup ready to go in our motor home as it is completely portable. Notice I am not in the picture. I don't need to be as I have at the time of this picture, two automated expert advisors (EA's)working for me. The laptop on the right is trading my live account with two separate EA's, the monitor in the middle is attached to the laptop on the left and is trading an expert advisor on a demo account. The EA on the demo account is being trailed for the best settings and will remain there for about a month before it is transferred to the live account. The left hand side laptop screen is setup to trade manually. the charts on it are from an e-signal service and are magnificent for trading manually.
